Former Presidential Canidate & Congressman Ron Paul Came to my Campus Today - General

So today Ron Paul came to ISU today to talk about less government control. Anyways, I was a bit skeptical of Ron Paul before because he had gotten some bad press before, so I had a bit of bias against him. I decided to go because I was curious about him. When I first got to the event center my friend Kelly had to go to the bathroom, so I stood outside by the door waiting for her. As I was waiting, Ron Paul and his entourage walked right past me to do his pre-speech press conference. Now I don't have a picture of his entourage because I would have needed to act like a ninja to pull out my camera from my pocket, and I was afraid that his crew would have thought I was trying to pull out my nine mil and would have tackled me. But his entourage looked ballin'. He talked all about his Campaign for Liberty. I agreed with a lot of things he said, and thought he was a really good speaker. I'm going to have to do some more research on him, he's not all that bad of a guy. He made some good points on how flawed our tax system is, how our personal freedoms are controlled too much by the government, and how the war is pointless. What do you guys think about Ron? He's Republican and I saw banners for him on some NWO conspiracy website so I presume he's crazy.

I really wish Ron Paul was President. He knew what the hell he was talking about. I hope he runs again.

His stance is far far too classically liberal for most peoples' tastes. That and he doesn't have connections, so no dice.
