It's custom built, by a friend of my father's (I don't know shit about building computers).
But I suspect he must of wired something wrong because whenever I Shut Down the computer (Vista Ultimate here) it Restarts.
I searched on Google and found it might have to do with the "BIOS" but the instructions that I followed didn't really do anything.
At the moment I shut down the machine by clicking "Shut Down" and then pressing the actual button right before it brings up the loading screen for Vista (When its starting up).
Is there any fix for this?
Thanks.
And pressing restart does what?
My studio computer did this.
BIOS update (which I did for an unrelated problem) fixed it.

It Restarts too. :l
Reset BIOS.
It doesn't want to be shut down.
Let it be.

I can't do that, it will overheat eventually.
(That movie was p cool by the way)

But the ending was a little depressing
Speaking words of wisdom, let it beeee.
He might have wired the reset / power jumpers wrong

No it won't, PCs heat up to normal temps within a few minutes then stay there unless you increase load
They don't keep getting hotter, well temps will increase over months and years as dust builds up but that's nothing to do with leaving it on

It also sucks power, and if you have components that don't exactly run cool in the first place, and have the computer not being in the best position (such as by having your computer sandwiched between your desk and wall in the dusty corner) because you have no other room for it elsewhere, it's a great way to shorten your component's lifespan.
Or atleast make it so you have to clean out your PC every 3 weeks instead of 3 months.

What movie is that from?
AI
Unplug it? Or, set it to "turn off" then unplug it at the split second when it's finished turning off and is about to turn on again.
It happens to me when I bog my computer down with useless shit. A clean install usually fixes it for me, but it doesn't really bother me because I shut down my pc by flicking the switch on the power supply.
