So whenever i try to play any of my games it waits a little, then acts like there's nothing inside. I've tried cleaning the discs, but that won't work. Not even a pretty new game works.
I guess the laser is broken.

Did you update your Xbox360 by any chance before this started happening ?
as if you did it's the update that is causing this and microsoft has said they will give out Free Xbox360 S if that update makes your console RROD or have disc read errors on games that previously worked.
