Why do we discriminate against Mexican immigrants? They work, they want their kids to get a good education, they work, and they have a beautiful culture, and did I mention they work?
Mexicans do a lot more for society then the people who don't like them; they want to fit in and be productive, and yet we portray them as scumbag leechers. Why is this?
Is this some rhetorical question thing because I'm pretty sure you know why Mexican immigrants are discriminated against.
If you can figure out their "good" qualities, I'm sure you can figure out their "not so good" qualities.
They don't pay taxes like the rest of us. That is a problem. They need to come here legally. The problem with that is that our system takes so long, they just come here illegally. Can I blame them? No. But they need to be paying taxes like the rest of us.
Oh I thought you were talking about illegal mexicans. I don't have a problem with legal immigrants of any kind.

They can be counter productive.
They steal social security numbers/identities.
Certain groups band together, create notorious gangs and slaughter unnecessary people.
those certain groups in turn also promote drug smuggling.
they use illegal immigrant traffic for their own capital.. sometimes charging and forcing them to pay thousands of dollars to come to this country.
They fuck up our economy.
Also, they don't pay for taxes. They leech off of government welfare services as well.

I'm with illegal mexican immigrants on a regular basis at a farm I work at, and they are the laziest pieces of trash I have ever seen. Not only do they barely work, but they are disrespectful to everyone they meet and they love to tell stories about how they "jumped the fence".

LOL. Green card, yes it can. You'll have to go through processing. Crossing a border illegally voids this out.
Then to become a legal citizen, you have to be here for 9-10 years on an absolutely clean record. Even convicted traffic convictions can void out your entire immigration status.

I live in Texas, and there are SO many Mexicans who came illegally, and get special classes in Spanish, instead of learning English. It drives me nuts.

Yeah im mexican, but i was born here. Although my mother was born in mexico. My grandfather waited until he got all of his family green cards. Although my cousin pedro is illegal.

I have a couple of friends who are illegals and while I do love them dearly, they really need to enter the country legally. Of course you can't blame them for wanting a better life. The majority of illegals simply come to America because Mexico is an absolute SHITHOLE right now. ESPECIALLY around the border.
But legal immigrants? No one is discriminating against them. Or at least I hope not due to the fact that would be considered bigotry because there's no real reason to dislike them.

I have the same problem, except i live in Ohio. Now, granted, most of the spanish immigrants here are legal and I respect that, they just either refuse to speak/learn english.
