After 15 days at a training camp in the Syrian city of Raqqa, the de facto headquarters of the group, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, the 27-year-old Can was assigned to a fighting unit. He said he shot two men and participated in a public execution. It was only after he buried a man alive that he was told he had become a full ISIS fighter. “When you fight over there, it’s like being in a trance,” said Can, who asked to be referred to only by his middle name for fear of reprisal. “Everyone shouts, ‘God is the greatest,’ which gives you divine strength to kill the enemy without being fazed by blood or splattered guts,” he said.
Damn with this ISIS crap.
what the hell is wrong with these people?
what the hell is wrong with these people?
Just like Brits, Spaniards and yanks who went to fight with the Nazis, worms come crawling out of the wood work.
So, from what I'm getting, is they target people who have had it hard all their lives and basically give them a meaning. Even though it's not a good meaning at all.
So IS gives them purpose. A noble goal, if that purpose wasn't to slaughter anyone who doesn't convert to their twisted interpretation of Islam.

Even though it's not a good meaning at all.
It's how quite a few religions and cults find people, whether unintentionally or intentionally. If you've ever seen one of those flyers or heard people trying to convert others usually it sounds really goddamn ridiculous, but if you're in a low position in life it might sound like a breath of fresh air.
For once, I can finally say I am glad the US and allies are taking action in the middle east, these people are inhumane, they murder innocent people of all religions and walks of life and need to be brought to justice.
I kinda wish Turkey would get more involved. The are kinda putting their hands to their eyes and shouting so they can't hear or see whats going on next door. To be honest I'm sure once IS are finished with Syria and Iraq they will move to other states and begin the destabilization process there. There is no buffer zone with these people, although I'd like to see them pull that crap with Iran.
