So, one of my customers wants to build a computer for him. But I'm stumped. It has to be good, have a screen, and an OS along with my Hawaii shipping. His total budget: $1,300 My budget for him: $1250 (I'm charging the extra fifty bucks for 'service') Remember our shipping fee, which is at least 200 dollars, itself. Help me out here, this guy only has one thousand dollar budget, wants an OS, and a screen. And the computer needs to be good too, not ultimate high end, but somewhere in the middle.
You make it sound as if this is your job. How come you don't know how to do it?
working on it now.
You make it sound as if this is your job. How come you don't know how to do it?
Usually, I do. Isn't first time I built a PC for someone. But he's asking for a decent computer for 1,100 with an OS, and a screen. Plus 200+ Shipping fee. I'm stumped. thanks for helping by the way skwee.

[editline]04:28AM[/editline] That was an interesting experience, throwing shit together with that high of a shipping cost. Normally for that budget I do i5 or i7 and dual 5770s.

the 5900RPM 1TB drive is slower than the 7200RPM 1TB drive.
the 5900RPM 1TB drive is slower than the 7200RPM 1TB drive.
It matters also on the platters data density. http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2009-3.5-desktop-hard-drive-charts/compare,1009.html?prod[2777]=on&prod[2365]=on You might want to look at this. That is a 5900 beating a 7200 drive.
I'm stumped.
Then you're bad at your job and the best thing you can do for this customer is to refer him to the nearest Fry's.
This is like a professional programmer asking how to do arithmetic in C++. If it's your job you should know how to do it.
Why the fuck did you bump this?
