Facepunch, I am going through some harsh times, and I could use your help. - General

Reedited for length and people not reading very well: I be broke right now and my mom is out of a job, I am blind in one eye, my mom has AVM disorder (can cause bleeds in the brain and shit), my grandma broke her hip, and I am looking to raise some money to help buy a new PC for myself. I have been saving (and working) for two years to get the money for this and I am now only 47 dollars away. I am in the gifted program in highschool so I am very busy, and I do work odd jobs to get a bit of money. No one wants to hire me by the way I have already tried to apply for jobs. My mom is a single mother because my dad was a drug dealer and she left him when I was 3. I have been diagnosed with Severe anxiety and Depression. Long story short, money is very tight right now (my mom is struggling to pay the bills if you guys really need to know that) and I would like to give myself something to cheer myself up. I regularly donate to charity and buy games for facepunchers, so you know. I am honestly not expecting you guys to give me anything but I would still like to get this message out there and try. If any additional money is raised I will either use it to buy games for some facepunchers or donate to the childs play charity. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU REPLY HOLY SHIT.

Go work for it. For Marching Band I had to work my ass off to learn a part only to have it taken because the girl who had it originally came back. I had to find the time to learn it with 2 hour practices up to 10 hour practices, and a to make it worse, I had a competition. I had to learn it in 3 days. Than I had to do my homework. If you can't find the time to mow two yards than you need to stop fucking around and get to work.

But I'll be sure to just forget about homework and my family so I can raise money for my computer that sounds smart. I work my ass off every day just to get decent grades, and keep everyone in my family well and happy. I am looking to get a new computer because of the fact that the way I live my life I have an anxiety disorder and depression (both diagnosed by a doctor) and gaming helps me take my mind off things. I mean I suppose I could wait but right now I am going through some of the worst times in the past few years and I would like to have something to cheer me up. That and you know calling me selfish is a bit of an assumption considering when I have the spare money I donate it to charity or use it to get a present for my mother but okay fine i am selfish)

If you've waited 2 years to get this new computer you can wait another 2 or 3 months. I don't care how gifted you might be, sounds harsh but begging for money on a forum isn't the best way to go about things.. But you're never too busy, I work 40+ hours a week, I go to university, AND STILL have time to do extra shit like side jobs, hanging out with friends and playing video games. Stop with the sob story, it isn't winning anyone over. Work one weekend doing odd jobs, you'll get 40-50 bucks in no time. Or even better, sell some stuff on ebay.

I understand that it might not seem like my life is that diffucult, especially compared to some of the stuff that other people have gone through. I understand some people have more diffucult problems to face then I do, but I was just hoping that somone was willing to help me out and I know that getting a job would be the best solution but if you havent noticed getting a job in this economy is diffucult as fuck especially considering where I live the minimum wage is 10.25 an hour so people are much more tentative about hiring. I am trying my best to raise the money that I need, it isnt like I have just been saving money my parents give me or some shit. I was just hoping that somone would be willing to provide me a bit of help. I do work to get money, you guys understand that right? Recently there has been less odd jobs that I can do or I have been doing them for free for family friends (computer repair, manual labour, bit of tutoring etc). Do you guys honestly think I would ask for money without working for it at all? oh also im blind in one eye and have had two surgeries in the past two years. also my mom has a seizure disorder and has the possibility of a brain bleed. but really I dont want to keep throwing my problems at you guys to try and get sympathy, just understand that my life is a bit more diffucult then what my writing suggests.

I am offering to pay the shipping and give you what little cash I have ATM for that laptop you got. I am in a lower class family with 3 people living on a fixed income and the laptop I am using right now breaks very often and has to get repaired.
