I'm finally getting a laptop and I think I found the perfect one for $600. Its an asus G51JX, It has an i7, 6 gb DDR3, 500 GB 7200 RPM HDD, W7 Home premium and 1920x1080 resolution. My only concern is the GPU in it, its a GTS 360m and I have no idea about mobile GPU's, and if for $600 if this is worth it. Here is the laptop itself http://www.frys.com/product/6197189?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

This laptop will be used when I am traveling and I would like to be able to play source games on it smoothly.
Better than my GTS 250m, you'll be able to play with a better FPS at the native resolution.

Scroll down till you see the benchmark results in many games.
Jesus, its better than my 9500 GT. For $600 this is perfect for what I need. Thanks for giving me those benchmarks.
I always go there first when I find my chosen laptop, just to see if its good or shit. Might prove useful to others in the hardware and software forum if choosing a laptop.
Just found out that they dont make the g51jx anymore so I need another option.

You tried some site that sells custom built laptops? Sager or something?
For the price range, you should try Ebay for something similar. However I ran across this:

I wish Newegg was bloody decent enough to sell one with an i7. 1.5ghz is even slower than my MSi's i7.
Wait for Ivy Bridge and the new Keplar Nvidia gpu's to release. It will only be a month or two, but it will definitely be worth it in performance for the new parts and the price drop for the old.

That one has 4 GB DDR3, 500GB Hard Drive, 2.2GHz i7, and a GT 630M. Its right at your $700 budget though.
I am going to wait for ivy bridge and keplar, I just remembered last night when I was trying to tell my friend to wait for that to come out before buying a computer but he refuses to wait because hes a richfag.
