Just got 3k on scratch cards. Want to make a new computer using this 3k (note I do not intend to give any to the irs). I already have a computer and would like to keep it intact. I would like this new computer to have 2 SSDs and have 3 moniters. What would you guys recommend :)
(note I do not intend to give any to the irs)
enjoy your audit You'll be better off dropping half of it on a new system anyway, then dropping the other half once the first one becomes obsolete.
Do you really need three monitors..? [editline]07:29PM[/editline] Where are you from btw
Do you really need three monitors..? [editline]07:29PM[/editline] Where are you from btw
This I really think you should build for 1.3-1.6k
You can't escape the IRS when it comes to lottery winnings. Maybe you think you can but someone will pay that money. And chances are when the IRS comes knocking, anyone who said they could 'help' you cheat them on the taxes is going to flip like a bitch on you.
Why 2 SSD's? I mean, I would personally have 1 just for my OS.
Why 2 SSD's? I mean, I would personally have 1 just for my OS.
Or 1 big one, because SSD's in RAID dont support TRIM, and no TRIM = bye bye performance.

I live in illinois. I need 2 SSD(s) one for os one for installing games on. I require 3 monitors because I have always wanted 3 P.S. (F*ck the IRS)
(F*ck the IRS)
psst mommy isn't reading this you're allowed to swear because I'm sure you're a big boy now
I think OP is actually 12 and used the lottery thing as a ruse to get us to build something for him so he can buy it with his parents money. If he said that I would have started on the build immediately.

Loose the VelociRaptor, They arnt even the fastest HDDs anymore, and loose the WD Green, replace both with a Samsung Spinpoint F3, and maybe a 30GB OCZ Vertex SSD. And if he goes with a i5 750 he will need a different motherboard.
Ohh, sorry about that. I threw it together in like five minutes, dun hate. Greens for a dump drive/storage really aren't bad.
won't work
Probably just didn't look at the specifications... And OP, just spend like 1600$ on the pc and then spare the 1400$ for upgrades.
