You think Tumblr will actually go under? As awful as the website can be, I certainly enjoy using it to post my devlog shit and easily keep track of other people.
As negatively as people think of Tumblr, it's actually a really good site. You can find a blog for pretty much anything you want and keep up to date on the posts really easily. It'd be a shame if it went away.

While the site itself seems to barely work at times and has played host to a lot of unfortunate shit, it's so [I]big[/I] that I dread its disappearance. It'll be like a giant hole opening up in the internet, and a lot of history is going to disappear into it. Artists use it, game devs use it for posting progress, changelogs, promotional stuff, etc., writers use it... the list goes on.

It's a great site for me to post my animations to and follow things I like, I wouldn't want it to go down.

Tumblr's a great site for art and other creative stuff to follow, but the people designing it are a bunch of chimpanzees.

god just the other day they added advertisements that autoplay with loud blaring music to the side bar, which still play when you have the ad blocked by various tools. The reason this is such an issue is the fucker can actually play audio while actual audio posts [b]won't play audio[/b] if a user has added tags to the post
even the 'new XKit' addon has a special addon now that sounds pretty pissed about it

Ads with sound are even worse than fullscreen popups imo, especially since any sounds that come out of a browser tend to be a lot louder than the system volume you're used to
corporate (yahoo) keeps forcing them to push new style ads and just can't get anything to stick. The shit that hits the desktop site is always over the top and hilariously misguided, full of corporate advertising gimmicks and nonsense that gets mocked until it goes away a week later. mobile ads are meme-level garbage with that choose your adventure mobile app with the weird as shit vapid situations

literally every day i checked it there was 100k more spam
they actually disabled the spam filter for the account.. and actually deleted it
