A reporter at KTVA-TV in Alaska quit her job on-air after revealing herself as the owner of the medical marijuana business Alaska Cannabis Club.
At the end of a live report on the Alaska Cannabis Club during KTVA’s Sunday night newscast, Charlo Greene made the announcement:
“Now everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy for fighting for freedom and fairness which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska,” she said. “And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, (expletive) it, I quit.”
With that, she simply walked off camera.
fucking fine her
I swear, more people get more offended over an unexpected use of the word Fuck than they did during 9/11
I'm scared for life now.
Especially when people still get offended by even the threat of hearing a swear on TV in 2014. Those that get offended probably swear like a drunken sailor themselves too.
People should start finding real shit to be offended by, not some string of letters.
Good riddance to her, she's a terrible journalist if she tried to do an objective report on a business she owned without telling anyone about the massive conflict of interest that existed there.
It's just fucking beyond me.
How fucking boring must peoples lifes be if they get offended by a swear word.
Who even has the time to get offended by this kind of shit?
good luck ever getting a job again other than a mcdicks once your business fails lmao
note that I don't give a shit it's about marijuana but the manner in which she did it was extremely unprofessional and if she ever does need to find a new career she'll have a pretty hard time after a stunt like that.
Reminds me of the Bill O'Riley clip "Fuck it, We'll do it live!".

Good for her. Fuck the offended parties.
420 (expletive) it

Freedom. It starts with marijuana.
Yeah all my Alaska friends and family are posting about this on facebook, to my surprise they are mostly supporting her decision.
Oh no, a random organization of letters is offensive to me.
Grow the fuck up people, oops, I did it too.

Burning bridges, also totally destroying journalistic integrity. How clever.

you think someone else involved might have checked at some point

If she didn't know they were the consequences to this then yes, she's stupid but I'm sure if she owns a business she probably has other options than journalism
[sp]like selling marijuana needles[/sp]

What happens when her business fails?
What happens when her business fails?
Awfully pessimistic of you there, you don't know it's going to fail
lots of people gettin real fuckin angry about words in here
is it really that rediculous to be offended by a word that's deemed as offensive by a large sum of people? like when can you not be offended? seems like people are getting offended that others are offended by their offenses.
fuck
Her name is Charlo Greene.

Pretty realistic assumption to make actually. The average lifespan of a business is around 12 months - bear in mind this average includes companies that were established in the 1800s. Start-ups very often fail
