Wait its a console MOBA? How would that even work?
This is kinda bullshit, if you already bought the game a character should be a decision to purchase based on how your team will work together not based on whether you own the character or not. LoL makes you buy champions but 10 are free every weak and you earn them through gameplay pretty quickly.

Pretty sure most abilities are skillshots aimed with the right joystick, aside from that I don't know.
It looks like all the aimed abilities are area of effect and you can't even buy items in middle of a game, you have to create sort of like a tech tree that slowly unlocks itself as the game progresses.

Wow this is fucked, the game info page says "Purchase items and buffs between matches using in-game currency earned through combat". It sounds like a more convoluted version of masteries from LoL.

We need a decent Middle Earth game, so much potential in a few genres.

Agreed, Dota2 is pretty much the only good F2p game, and it might as well cost 60 dollars.
