Any other Maiden fans out there felt a bit worried when they saw the name of their next album?
"The Final Frontier"
To me, it sounds like this is their last album =(
It might just be a statement. Like My Chemical Romance's song "Famous Last Words" wasn't their last song, so as far as Iron Maiden's concerned, I think we're safe.
I haven't heard of that one >.<
But yeaaah... I hope so.
You can probably Google it somewhere.
There's plenty of bands that have a song/album that relates to the word final, but I don't know any that are the band's last album. If it is there last they would have told us by now anyway.
Sounds badass. Might go see them when they come by
The rumours I've heard say that they are going to release the final album and go on a world-wide tour. Lets just hope the album is good and that they go out in style.
I really hope it's not their last album, and I hope even more that it's not their last tour.
But, if it is, at least I know I'll leave that concert satisfied, as I have FRONT-FUCKING-ROW seats already :smug:
Iron Maiden giving up.
That's funny.
You're funny.
There will come a sad point in the world when Maiden simply cannot tour anymore.
And a much sadder point where there are no surviving members.

I agree, this would make me sad, but I think that while they're getting on, they've a good few years left in them. Speaking of touring, sonisphere uk, going to see any patrons here?

Also I'm fairly certain IM is going on tour first and then releasing the album. That being said that doesn't mean they aren't going to play songs from the new album.
It's like Megadeth and "Endgame". They're releasing a new album sometime in 2011 I think.
Back to Iron Maiden, and it'll be a sad day when they announce their last album. Worse when they no longer tour. Then even worse when the first member leaves us. You can't want it to be one over another because they're all so awesome.
Tour's coming up.
Planning on seeing them
Apparently Dream Theatre is opening for them.

Good luck, the MSG (NYC, USA) concert sold out in 4 days flat (presale-general public sale).
Sold out as in literally not a single ticket left, all on its own.

I plan on going to the Detroit, MI concert.
Closest one to me. Ticket deals are pretty good actually. We're talking about 4 for $80.
They are coming in June to Colorado. Now I can cross off "See Maiden Live" from my bucket list!
