Problem solved! Thanks to Sir Whoopsalot, and the moderator on the UbuntuForums who helped him out! Today I installed Ubuntu 32-bit and it went fine, the first thing I did when I got into Ubuntu was to restart to check if my dual boot worked, it did. But now, after downloading some drivers and a restart it doesn't it gives me this instead: unknown filesystem GRUB rescue> When I saw it the first thing I did was to restart and put the Ubuntu dvd back in and press "Try" just to be sure that my files were still there and my HDD not corrupt. All my files are there, and I understand that this is the bootloader not working properly. I searched for a solution, but I must admit, I understood brick of it. So I need help, atleast to understand the solution. All help is appreciated. Extra info: I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 32-bit on a Sony Vaio with an i3-330M a 5650 and 4GB RAM, though I don't think the specs has any importance. I did delete a partion I made just before installing Ubuntu, and after searching on the web I realise that this might have been the thing that did this. It should've been clean, so I really can't see how it happened.
