http://nbcpolitics.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/11/22/8956032-obama-heckled-by-occupy-protesters I would have found a better source, but the four I looked up had basically the same thing. They just described the video. When I find a better source I will add it. Basically, Obama tried to start talking and some people in the back started shouting "Lets get fired up" or something like that. It was very garbled. After this goes on for about a minute, the rest of the audience starts shouting "Obama" which causes him to quiet everyone down and continue with his speach. Where MSN got the idea that they were from OWS, I don't know.
Whether you're for or against the movement, you have to admire how tactfully he handled 'em.
Obama is a cool cucumber, 24/7.
In before it's in an attack ad
I love how he handled that nicely. If that was bush those kids would of gotten arrested right there right then.
Wait, I couldn't even tell what they were saying, how does NBC know they're OWS protestors? way to go, biased media. At least try not to blatantly LIE to viewers about shit you don't fucking understand.
Someone inciting unrest? Must be OWS. I swear all American media and politics does is try and find a scapegoat/enemy, make them a target to draw attention away from the real issues. Watch the video though, if they aren't Occupy protestors they seem to be protesting about something.
I love how he handled that nicely. If that was bush those kids would of gotten arrested right there right then.
Lol how can you even say that. Am i the only one that thinks this comment is dumb?
Yeah, Bush wouldn't have arrested them. That said Obama did handle that nicely.

It's completely understandable to assume they're from OWS.
Lol how can you even say that. Am i the only one that thinks this comment is dumb?
Bush wouldn't have had followers who were energized enough to drown OWS out. They would have sat and waited for OWS to settle down, Bush would have looked sad and/or disappointed, and he would have continued solemnly. But no, he wouldn't have had them arrested. That's just stupid.
Am i the only one that thinks this comment is dumb?
No, I found it pretty dumb also
I don't like the connotation of heckled.
I love how he handled that nicely. If that was bush those kids would of gotten arrested right there right then.
bush wouldn't give 2 shits
MIC CHECK!

Gotta love how well the man whose opponents refer to as "a totalitarian dictator" (-Ron Paul) can handle even the worst of heckling without even starting to lose his cool. EDIT: Sauce http://news.yahoo.com/ron-paul-obama-presidency-dangerously-close-elective-dictatorship-230304208.html
I love this. Occupy Wallstreet successfully gets their voice heard. For real. Not in some internet petition bullshit. They take it to the president.
Citation?
First one I found http://rt.com/usa/news/ron-paul-obama-dictator-841/ I saw an AP on it a few weeks ago to, pretty much the only time mainstream news has even mentioned him since the newsletters.
Never once does he say that, at least not literally- have to look deeper than the headline. Especially when it's anti-west shitfest RT.
DIRECT QUOTE: “brings the modern presidency dangerously close to an elected dictatorship.” Still looking for the original article though, google got bogged down by about 500 alternative media sites reprinting the article and praising the quote as gospel truth.
He was speaking if Obama were to bypass Congress to pass his jobs bill. Which he didn't. EDIT: Box for a box king then, a box you shall have my liege
Actually he was referring to his use of executive orders, something he has done on other things, heck he had issued some in his first days as president. I would've used "bad reading" if we had it.
I was surprised by how well he handled it. Of course the protesters were still detained/escorted out, but that is to be expected.
I love how he handled that nicely. If that was bush those kids would of gotten arrested right there right then.
Here is a video of Bush.
Was referring -directly- to an executive order on the jobs bill. (RT goes on to bitch about Libya intervention, but that was done jointly through NATO- and we had no boots on the ground, and no casualties.)
Well as I said RT was the first source I found and the other two on that page were Fox and infowars, both of which are less accurate than the Nazi propaganda ministry was. Either way heres the story on yahoo http://news.yahoo.com/ron-paul-obama-presidency-dangerously-close-elective-dictatorship-230304208.html. He does definitely appear to be talking about executive orders in general.
Wow look at how liberal all these Occupy Protesters are, eating out of Obama's hand, they're just a product of the Democrat spin machine

They are like the Russian Fox News.

exactly my point.
RT has a heavy anti-america bias. They are like the Russian Fox News.
Uhh RT has US-based news.... Anti-US bias.... in news made.... for the US?
if only we had more politics as smooth as that.
He means that they're pushing an anti-west bias and viewpoint, much like Fox News pushes a super-conservative backwards/simplistic viewpoint.
I completely disagree. I think RT US tends to push a western CRITICAL veiwpoint. Not 'anti-western'. The difference is 'anti-western' would be like baseless accusations and shit. When I read an RT US article it often makes me go "wow a news source willing to balls out criticize shit." and I think they offer a valuable point of view.
