My second major unboxing of a premium product. I did it 1) There weren't any good unboxings of it, and 2) I wanna.

Enjoy my face. This was shot on my new 60D + Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6. This was shot at 1080p30, ISO 3200, 1/30th, F5.6

Tonight I'm going to try and record some benchmark videos, playing games maxed out at this resolution on my system, I'll probably post those in here unless people think it should be a separate post.

Heh, thanks for the comment. The LP issue is... I feel so busy. If I have any free time I want to relax and not go into my stern recording mode. I'm trying to work on balancing major releases with LP's and I'm lining up my time in order to keep stuff coming out.

Basically my current plan is to record only 1-2 videos at a time with each game, so that I keep more videos coming out over a broader range and also able to incorporate feedback.

That's what I've been trying to do, as for the videos I've already recorded, I deleted them. the Island adventure one I killed, and will need to do an update video on it tonight or really soon.

Thanks, I find my voice to be harsh, but over the years of recording I've tried to soften my speech especially online for more balanced sound. Hard to describe. But 1-2 years ago my voice sounded much sharper.

It's actually the height that makes it feel so large. I think that's why people like 16:10 as it's wide, but the extra height on the aspect makes it feel more usable. When I play it's like I'm looking through a window into the game most of the time.

I've been playing hours of BF3 on it and I ramp up the brightness to max while on outside maps to make the sun feel more intense. :D

You haven't followed my issues I guess.

I did choose the Dell U3011, originally.

It was slow, laggy, and multiple stuck pixels. Oh, and all three of the U3011's I tried had it. Not to mention support was inconsistent as hell. I spend 2 hours on the phone trying to get it returned and they ended up sending me to the main phone system again. I was fed up and tried calling again in a different department the following morning and finally talked to someone who knew how the fuck to return something and got out of that system as fast as I could.

I've only seen it drop below 50 once. I'm running highest at 90 Fov, Ultra, 4xMSAA, and average between 55-90fps. I need to run a Fraps benchmark but I'm impressed.

I'm with dual MSI 580 Lightning Xtremes (832mhz) and a 2600k.
