An 11-year-old boy from Brazil nicknamed "Magnet Boy" has been attracting worldwide attention for demonstrating how metal objects stick to his body. Paula David Amorim has been filmed by TV cameras with knives, forks, spoons, scissors and even large saucepans stuck to his chest, stomach and back. The boy's father said he decided to test his son after learning of a boy in Croatia with a similar ability, according to reports. "In school, everyone asks me to put things on my body, they think it is a trick," Paulo was quoted as saying by Associated Press. In February reports emerged of a 7-year-old boy named Bogdan from Serbia with similar abilities. It was not just metal attracted to the youngster, with China plates and TV remote controls also sticking to this body. But scientists say the phenomenon has nothing to do with "magnetic attraction" and instead relates to simple skin friction, with very smooth surfaces of any material often able to adhere to bare skin (such as belongs to hairless young boys), especially on hot days when sticky sweat is added to the mix.
Source: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/8271220/magnet-boy-can-stick-metal-objects-to-his-body Too bad he'll never be able to bend magnets like the real Magneto. :saddowns: [editline]10th July 2011[/editline] Or he's not Magneto, but a relative of Gabe Newell.
For a second I thought this was another "magnetic" boy that was in Algeria or somewhere like that and it just turned out he was oddly sticky.
This isn't new. Ripley's covered people with this phenomenon before.
Good thing he's not actually magnetic, or he'd be unable to become part of the pc master race.
Sticky, fat kids in warm countries. Give him some plastic spoons, knives and other stuff and see the magnetizing phenomenon repeat itself. What should we nickname him when that stuff works too?
This reminds of that Ukraine kid who was just dirty and sticky.Same will happen here, because it's not a real thing. It's pretty silly how easily you can fool someone with such a simple thing. Oh well, it will go down after 3 days max.
Fakeneto boy
You don't need to be a member of N.A.M.B.L.A to say this child is very attractive.
That's mag-fucking-neato.
That's mag-fucking-neato.
Where his cur-ly moustache at?
This news it not late. Look at the date the article was posted. Suck shit and cry. :mmmsmug: [editline]10th July 2011[/editline] P.S: I don't see anyone else posting this prior to me.
I've seen a Russian to this too.
If this is possible, there's no telling what people can do with this kind of talent.

I can do this too. Or maybe its the radiation. :colbert:
What if becomes too powerful, he must be destroyed!
What is this? An impostor!?
What is this? An impostor!?
Crowbar duel, whoever wins is the new Freeman.
I wonder if he has a lot of clocks stuck to him.
-snip-
Well jee, thanks for mentioning that he isn't magnetic only at the bottom of the article. News today are a fucking joke.
HAHAHAHA! Welcome to die!
They're really magnetic! But you cancel out their powers by having them parallel to the ground, adding some baking soda to dry them off, or just measuring the magnetic field around them [sp]Not new, fake, ask James Randi[/sp]
holy shit, ferromagnetic china plates!
