In effect, they have diplomatic immunity. It was their way of getting out of having to ban Trump or be called hypocrites for enforcing rules against other people for doing the same things he does daily without consequence. They didn't want to have to ban the President and end up in an unprecedented legal situation, so they wimped out and took the easy path. So that's pretty great. Trump can personal army his millions of followers to go harass some "crying Hillary-voting libcuck" by @mentioning them and suggesting people tell them how they're dumb for arguing with him, and, welp, that's just perfectly fine. i rarely care about royal politics but i real feel for Meghan. the amount of utter racist bullshit thrown at her over social media just because her skin colour isn't chalk white.
