In the original Devil May Cry I hated Vergil but in DmC he's the only character I like.

I wish they had a full game with Vergil since I enjoyed his combat in DLC.
Seriously, just make DmC 2 but with fixed writing and better character design.
Definitive edition of a game the majority of people dislike isn't what people want.
I just want a DMC5.

honestly i haven't play any other DMC game but DmC is like the best hack-and-slash game i've played in my entire life.
i mean the writing is nothing to write home about, but the game and graphics itself is so damn solid.

Gameplay is very nice, but, if you're interested, you need to pick up at least DMC3. It'll blow your goddamn socks off.

You have no idea how deep the rabbit hole goes. DmC looks like babbys first hack and slash if you sit down and learn all of the combat mechanics for DMC3

Go play Metal Gear Rising and/or Bayonetta(2)
DmC is action for casuals. Fun on the surface but has no depth.

I won't lie and say I didn't have fun playing DmC, but a lot of the game's problems become more apparent on higher difficulties. The model of controls it uses isn't bad, but I was let down by a lack of lock-on for one thing. Nah, DMC3 and 4 will always be the best.
