A lot of hosts see anything below level 15 as a personal insult, and they like to abuse the kick button.
[sp]despite not releasing the game with the content promised this is probably the leading cause of why this game kicks your junk multiple times[/sp] And there you have one of the larger reasons of why some, if not most of the community surrounding Payday is arse. If you haven't played the game for 6 hours straight, day one of release, you'll be considered a noob. If you do something wrong, without them explaining, kicked. If you don't do whatever they wanted to do, kicked. If you're just starting off the game, kicked. When there was a reset, even in the Beta, I took a couple days off. Stopped playing and went back to it. Out of 20 matches, I was kicked from at least 14 of them. That's a fairly high number.
People tend to take Payday far to seriously :v: Either they dont agree with the way you play or you are just too low of a level
I've found nothing but intelligent people in the game. I'd also say 80% of the players I've encountered have had mics. Level 18 and I haven't had one bad apple, the worst I've ever seen were people who must be blind sometimes but it's not totally their fault. If you played during the beta and you had some bad experiences, 1. It's a beta. 2. People who pre-ordered got 3 other beta keys to send to their friends, so that's 3 potential people who have absolutely no interest in the game and could give less of a shit if they make you have a bad time because they don't care about what time they are having. The game does have it's faults, it's not totally clear on everything, I haven't seen a way to turn the DoF off, and it could expand the tutorial a little, but I do recommend it.
payday runs like total dicks for me even if windowed with everything on low, meanwhile i can run other recently released games just fine with medium to high graphics

You really do NEED the money since it costs a LOT to buy weapons, mods, new skills, masks, ect and while it might feel grindy, you are supposed to always go for the big jobs as they do give extremely rewarding payouts. Sometimes it might even be fairly easy since it has the whole subtle generation thing similar to L4D, a bus that wasn't there before, vault in a different place, cover providing cubicles instead of small desks ect. It's not like we have two Titans or anything either.
