Nope. I don't like Rift, but the F2P model is pretty much the best around
I thought this already was F2P on steam? It was for me.
It was removed from Steam so that you couldn't purchase it anymore, then the game went F2P, and now its back on there.
It's not exactly the "WoW Killer" it was stacked up to be, but it's a really solid game and i totally enjoy the area-wide rift invasions, 'cause after you team up with a bunch of random people you have to fight some giant ass monster and it's really cool.
Welp. Since I last played they merged servers. Some cunt had my character's name by SOME COINCIDENCE in the newly merged server so apparently I MYSELF am supposed to change my name. That's fair as fuck right guys?
It's the closest thing to WoW for free. If you're looking for that, RIFT's your game.
I have played it and looks great but to get to sanctum do you need to finish the quest the angel gives you when you get to the first land after you beat the first rift boss ? I am very confused on what to do but I am sure I will be able to figure out the shop and items sometime this week or next month.
Anyone know if rift has hotkey combat or actual dodging/movement/etc?

It's pretty much WoW in that regard, combat is as hotkey based as it gets

That's not what happened. Everyone's name got wiped a few days ago for the merge. He just got back to the name quicker.
