Ew, Steam on PS3. The moment we all dread. The one console fanbase comprised of the biggest elitists is now going to be invading our once proud Steam, Steam will be a cesspool of dickheads in no time.
They still haven't talked about being able to download the PS3 version if you own it on PC/mac though.
So when you buy Portal 2 on PS3, you get a free copy for PC?

Yes, that's been known for a few months.
Ew, Steam on PS3. The moment we all dread.
why would one dread steam on ps3?
i would love it if they made the steam client for ps3, where you could buy and download ps3 games on it. no more disks. they always get lost/scratched

I don't think you can. The PC/mac is one thing since it's easier to download it then go out and buy it. But a console game it's easier to go out and buy it then download it.
Cool, although I don't know why I'd buy Portal 2 for the ps3 if it could run just as well on my computer.
Yes, that's been known for a few months.
Then I'm sold.
(I would be anyway)

To have a Co-op with a friend. One on PS3, and another on PC.
Cool, although I don't know why I'd buy Portal 2 for the ps3 if it could run just as well on my computer.
I'm buying for the PS3 so in case my computer can't run it I can still play it on the PS3. Plus I'll have two copies of the game.
I like how they don't even bother listing Team Fortress 2 in their "Best-selling game franchises anymore"...
I like how they don't even bother listing Team Fortress 2 in their "Best-selling game franchises anymore"...
Portal's probably taken it's place.
wow, that's pretty fucking incredible.

TF2 is more of a chemistry experiment, how you say, labrat?
Portal used to be the guinea pig by itself. Now it's TF2.

everyone said the same thing about mac users and just look
nothing is different
nobody cares
So I can buy the ps3 version, download it on PC from it, and then sell the ps3 version on ebay?

P. much.

No, it's Steam on Xbox we all dread, PS3 users are a-okay.
Steam will be a cesspool of dickheads in no time.
You're late, CoD uses Steamworks.
They still haven't talked about being able to download the PS3 version if you own it on PC/mac though.
not gonna happen, Sony wouldn't gain any revenue from that.
i wonder if this will work with used copies of the game

I dread the day when steam for xbox is even considered
xxXXGLADS1337XXxx
Why wouldnt they be able to play with their PS3 from their pc?
It'd be even more cool if I can sign onto Steam without playing Portal on the PS3 to chat or whatever, as well as adding non-Steam games.

Probably not considering the codes on the inside of the box.
oh. i stopped reading before the bit with the code
As much as I want Steam for PS3 to available in other PS3 games I doubt that will happen because it would be directly competing with PSN on a grand scale. Heck we are lucky Sony let Valve do this for Portal 2.
I still wonder, if TF2 is the valve game that has gotten in the most dosh for valve.
