We already have a thread
All these articles are from April this year. Disney must've planned this for a while then.

It's blatantly obvious from the ending. Don't feel spoiled by this at all, it becomes obvious about half way through.
too soon
It's blatantly obvious from the ending. Don't feel spoiled by this at all, it becomes obvious about half way through.
It became obvious when they brought on Cilian Murphy as the son of the bad guy from the last movie, yet only gave him about a minute of screen time. That character is obviously going to be expanded upon.
first one wasnt good enough for me to care
Tron: Legacy was pretty mediocre, in my opinion. So no.
Just saw this. The story was pretty meh but the effects was like sex to my eyes. Kinda got addicted to this movie.

it didnt really need a sequel i dont think, it was good on its own plus technically it already was a sequel.
It could go either way for me. I'd see it if it did come out, but I don't think that they really need a sequel (although, I'd be perfectly happy to eat my own words if the sequel came out and it blew minds across the globe).

I believe we will also see Tron himself come back as well. Seems insane that the movie had him in it for 8 minutes when the movie is called Tron. I am calling a trilogy.
I almost forgot. I don't get why everyone likes daft punk so much. I don't like techno, electro and so on. The songs fitted but it was not my style.
I don't think they can continue since after all... [sp]Tron world vaporized when Flynn died.[/sp]
Nope, Sam backed up The Grid on his memory stick.
I don't think they can continue since after all... [sp]Tron world vaporized when Flynn died.[/sp]
It wasn't [sp] entierly vaporized, the Outlands survived, at least from what I remember. However if they make a sequel I will be sad because Jeff Bridges is one of the best actors in the movie and it won't be the same without Flynn. [/sp]

If these articles are true, then it looks like Disney took a page from DARPA's book
It's obvious a sequel is in the works, also when [sp] tron falls in the water after choosing to save Flynn and all them, his colors change to blue again right before it cuts away, so they will obviously expand on that[/sp]
With how many holes they left in the story and it being Disney what hell do you think is gonna happen?
Well, I'm optimistic for a sequel. But if Legacy bombs I don't think we'll see it.
If they make enough money, sure I think Disney will shoot out a sequel in a year or two.
