I've had several friends and just people I know betray me to side with some jackass that has been giving me nothing but issues since the beginning of middle school.
It just makes me realise,some people are so fucking shallow,they'd rather side with some popular person then with someone they are supposedly friends with.
Whats even more unfuckingbelievable is that after they side with this cunt,they act as if nothing happened and think I dont mind them blantantly backstabbing me for some popular person they dont even know all that well.
They just let this manipulative waste of a person control them like a puppet.
The interesting thing is,that when she is not around,everyone acts normally.
I do have a few loyal friends that I know would never do this,so to them,a BIG thank you.
It makes me furious when people dont stand up for themselves,because its kinda hard to fight a bully with a bunch of friends that turn around and dont back you up,instead,they decide to backup the person that already has about four five people standing around them to back her up.

Favoritism exists in all schools nowadays, the richer/more popular will have more friends. However, people like you, (not saying you're not wealthy or anything), normally have more integrity and compassion than the fools who flail their wealth around to get vain friends who only like him/her for his/her money and such. You'll have plenty of friends later on!

Basically, I entered Jr. High (don't kill me.) and for some reason, I have been wanting to make "popular" friends. See, but the thing that really sucks is I used to be good friends with most of the kids that are "popular" now.
Oh, and I called one of the most popular girls in school a slut, so... yeah.
But this thread has inspired me. I will now hang out with my good friends. Hooray.

Np, I just said that because whoever I was replying to was expecting people to pick the human, so I decided to take the opposite route for comedic reasons.
Also some words of wisdom.
From 6th to 8th grade I was a "cool" kid. I was a dick to a lot of people and hung out with a bunch of posers, got into fights, etc. My motivaion is that if I were cool, I'd have sex with hot girls.
But then I lost interest in that as I realized that all of the hot girls already had boyfriends.
In 8th grade I finally realized, why the fuck am I trying to be cool? To get douchebag friends? To try to get laid even though all the popular girls are already screwing people 24/7 and their appointment list is full? To be a dick to good people? So at that point I realized that being cool is fucking retarded.
There are better people out there than the cool kids, you'll get laid eventually, etc.
