9800GTX+ went up to 150C. Any possible long term issues?

Thread title. I fixed it and all, piece of cardboard (How the fuck did that get in there?) jammed the fan.

Specifically, this one:

PNY GeForce 9800 GTX + Video Card - 512MB GDDR3, PCI Express 2.0, SLI Ready, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, HDMI Support, VGA Support
Well, since you have fixed it, any performance issues?

Well, my second monitor is coming up as "analog display" and it looks ehhh, fuzzy. Also my 9800GTX, which is the second card I have plugged in but not in SLI (waiting for bendy SLI bridge in mail due to not identical cards ffff) is coming up as "NVIDIA 0x0612" in CPUID Hardware Montior (For heat monitoring) and the 9800GTX+ comes up as "GeForce 9800GTX+". Oh and they are out putting the same exact temps, which doesn't make any sense.
If you don't have any disco lines on the screen or anything bad, I think it's safe to say it's not damaged from that. The analog display problem could be due to a bad DVI port.

It was fine before though. And, no disco lines.
I had a Sapphire Radeon X1950pro that got up to 121C because dust had clogged the vents. It died 3 months later. Whether or not it was directly related to that or not I don't know. The heat may have shortened the lifespan.

Damn, I just got this card like less then a week ago too.
Those cards are supposed to shut themselves down at 120C, so some damage is definitely possible.
It defintely affected your card. 150C is bad bad bad temps for GPU.
WOW.. 150c? I thought mine was crazy with 108c but.. 150c? Wow..
Yes, that will decrease the lifespan.
