Hi guys.
So I have been having this problem lately... After I have played any game like Wow or Cod 4 for some time the game freezes and then the screen goes black and then the computer restarts. It's really annoying, has anyone had similar problems?

Probably overheating. Modified you pc recently? If not, then you may need to clean your fans.

Yeah I was thinking of the same, but I have bought new parts in like six months time, nearly all new. Just kept the hard drives
You should bind some of the cables inside of your pc together with some cable-ties, so it'll allow a better airflow, and like IronPhoenix said, clean the fans. If that doesn't work, you could look at buying a new fan.

I'll try that in a minute. I also suspect that this problem might be caused by DirectX. Steam, for example does not want to start any games because "I dont have directx" wich I clearly do, but when I try to install Directx it just gives an error.

compressed air, get all of the dust out of your computer, this happened to me, after playing for like half an hour squares began appearing on the screen. Fortuantely the graphics card was not permanently damaged.
