I found some mushrooms growing in my front yard. last week. I didn't remember to pick them, so when the gardener came over and mowed the lawn, they were gone the next day. Well, they're back, and I just picked one. I think I've identified it. [url]http://www.shroomery.org/images/pelliculosa/4.jpg[/url] I'm going to let the rest grow a bit before I make an actual conclusion, but hopefully these are hallucinogenic. Oh, and if they actually are these, I know to only take a tiny sliver f the cap first, just in case I misidentified them and they are poisonous.

get a picture and upload it. chances are its probably an inactive species. they aren't going to be that strong even if it was an active species. also its not Psilocybe Pelliculosa, I can tell you that right now. most likely its actually not going to from the genus Psilocybe

Those shrooms looks a lot like those I had in my backyard too... I wouldn't recommend eating them unless a professional analyze them.

They look legit, let them sit on air, if they get blue, they might be magic, but still, they might be real poisounus. If you eat them, they should be very gross and unable to eat. But fuck, shrooms can be evil.(if not right one)

America is hazardous when it comes to picking shrooms. UK is great 'cuz the Liberty Cap is a rather distinct looking mushroom.

he didnt post a pic, that link is to what he thinks it is. it cannot be psilocybe pelliculosa (that is just wishful thinking), because they do not grow in fertile grass (your backyard). believe me, mushrooms are not as easy to find as you think they are. Them mushrooms are poisnous they grow in the park up my street i live in belfast. They come out during spring.
