A woman who was banned from making loud noises during sex has lost an appeal against her conviction. Caroline and Steve Cartwright's love-making was described as "murder" and "unnatural" at Newcastle Crown Court. Mrs Cartwright, 48, from Washington on Wearside, lost the appeal against a conviction for breaching a noise abatement notice. The court heard Sunderland City Council recorded noise levels of up 47 decibels. Mrs Cartwright appealed against the conviction using Article 8 of the Human Rights Act to argue she had a right to "respect for her private and family life". I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it Neighbour Rachel O'Connor But the judge and two magistrates said they were in no doubt that the noise was "seriously intrusive and constituted a statutory nuisance". They rejected her claim that it was involuntary and unavoidable. Next door neighbour Rachel O'Connor told the court she was frequently late for work because she overslept having been awake most of the night because of the noise. She said: "The noise sounds like they are both in considerable pain. I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it." Mrs Cartwright was appealing against the original abatement notice, which was imposed in November 2007. Since then, she has been found guilty of breaching the order and given a four-year Asbo banning her from making excessive noise anywhere in England. She was subsequently accused of breaching that Asbo and will now stand trial at Newcastle Crown Court on 14 December.
Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/wear/8352729.stm
:wtc: I like vocal women, but that's too fucking much!
she had a right to "respect for her private and family life".
Not if you're loud enough that everyone in your apartment building can hear you.
Maybe she just likes the outrageously hardcore sex I like.
Well maybe if she'd stop having sex with a jackhammer it wouldn't be so loud
Wiki says normal conversation at 1m has 40-60dB Holy shit they look hardcore. I imagine them having bondage/latex sex:
Seriously what the fuck, WHY would you yell that loud? Sex doesn't make you fucking crazy.
Seriously what the fuck, WHY would you yell that loud? Sex doesn't make you fucking crazy.
with your hand it doesn't
She's just ugly as sin and wants to let everyone know that she's actually getting the dick from someone.
with your hand it doesn't
You have clearly never had sex as there are different types of women and a large percentage of them are not vocal at all even during orgasm.

Looks like he got too much bang for his buck.
47 decibels isn't even very much?
47 decibels isn't even very much?
Inter-Walls are rather thin and sound travels easy through them. Last time my neibours had a argument i could hear exactly where they were in the house.
Ball gag or bonk her on her back with her face shoved in a pillow That should solve the problem
Ball gag or bonk her on her back with her face shoved in a pillow That should solve the problem
"Face down ass up, thats the way we like to fuck"
Is that her picture? Shit, the guy must be fucking desperate.
Is that her picture? Shit, the guy must be fucking desperate.
Wait until you are their age and try to find a hottie.
Wait until you are their age and try to find a hottie.
MILFs aren't that hard to find -if you look in the right places-... I agree, that guy has way too low standards. And actually, I can relate to that woman. My neighbors's gf (she's 39 and my neighbor 28) screams like crazy when they're having sex. They once woke me up at 5 o' clock in the morning... AAAAAHHHHHH!! OOHHHHH!!!! OOHH OHH OHHH OHH!!!!! The guy's actually pretty cool as a neighbor, but I dislike that kind of noise, specially when you know the girl's probably compensating for something... I mean, wouldn't you tell her to keep it quiet or something?! IMO that's pretty embarrasing...
You have clearly never had sex as there are different types of women and a large percentage of them are not vocal at all even during orgasm.
Yes thanks Perfumly... as funny as Evilking thinks he is, I have had sex.
Wiki says normal conversation at 1m has 40-60dB
Yeah, but that is in the same fucking room. Imagine 47dB screaming through the walls from your neighboor. Even if it doesn't seem to, that is fucking loud.
Seriously what the fuck, WHY would you yell that loud? Sex doesn't make you fucking crazy.
Good sir, I have to disagree with you on that one :smug:
Yeah, but that is in the same fucking room. Imagine 47dB screaming through the walls from your neighboor. Even if it doesn't seem to, that is fucking loud.
Who actually measured that anyway?
Eh, I mean I understand the law and all, but I feel their should some sort of alternative; people shouldn't be forced to have quiet sex just because their neighbors are squeamish. Maybe loud sex zoning for residential areas...
Who actually measured that anyway?
Well i guess this happened over a longer timespan and on a regular basis so they just got someone to measure it or bought a dB-meter. Also, i just noticed the accidental pun in my previous post.

I would die if I heard HER moaning. So yeah, it's very close to murder.
