You could always ask Google "what's the time in Mountain View?", "what's the time in Australia?" or "time in GMT". Now you can also convert time zones. For example, you can convert "PDT to EST", "2PM GMT to EST" or "10 PM in Mountain View in Vienna time".
https://www.seroundtable.com/google-time-conversions-19427.html
One thing I do all the time and hate to do is figuring out a good time for a meeting between my location, New York and places overseas, like in Australia, Israel, the UK and so forth. There are web sites that do the conversion, but I find it always confusing. Wolfram Alpha does it well, so I often use that search engine. But it seems Google recently added the feature, or maybe they had it for a while, I don't think they have.
I've been hoping they'd add this for ages. Useful as FUCK with Google's nice natural language interpretation
Finally. I'm surprised this wasn't in sooner.
Well this is useful
i love these subtle features that they keep adding, so you don't have to go to those ad-filled badly designed sites for simple currency or measurement conversions
I've been bothered by them not having this function every time i google some timezone for years [editline]17th November 2014[/editline] though should work with 24h clock too
This should be useful as fuck, I've hated going to other clunky and advert infested sites when trying to figure out times when organising D&D games and the like online where everyone is in a different timezone.
This is something i've been begging for years. I'd google a time conversion site and have to use scroll menus to select the time and time zone and it was annoying as fuck.
Now I don't have to triple check my math every time there's a new Nintendo Direct. Thanks, Google!
And it only took 16 years to do this.

Doesn't seem to be working in the Swedish version of Google Search yet.
doesn't sound like it but a timezone converter is one of the most annoying things you can program [editline]17th November 2014[/editline]
Neat feature, but it makes me wonder why UTC isn't more widespread in use. With globalization and the internet converting timezones has only become a bigger hassle, and UTC seems like a pretty intuitive standard.

Also most date functions provided by the standard functions provided by the programming language. But time is very hard to manage by yourself, DST, quarter TZs, GMT vs UTC, etc.
Wait, what? I've used this for ages.
This should be useful as fuck, I've hated going to other clunky and advert infested sites when trying to figure out times when organising D&D games and the like online where everyone is in a different timezone.
How do you even play D&D online? It seems it would be awkward as fuck
This is like when I noticed the Windows Calculator has an option to Convert almost every unit into similar units. Just gotta check the tabs.
Took them long enough. DuckDuckGo has had this since forever along with a dozen other things like this that are missing from Google Search.
Wait, what? I've used this for ages.
They have had "What is the current time in 'place'" but I don't think they had "What is 2PM EST in GMT"
How do you even play D&D online? It seems it would be awkward as fuck
D&D is usually awkward as fuck anyway, but there's a few virtual tabletop programs out there that you can use for doing combat and stuff, plus whatever voice chat client you want.
This is like when I noticed the Windows Calculator has an option to Convert almost every unit into similar units. Just gotta check the tabs.
Oh, nice! It can also compute the difference between two dates which is pretty complicated. [editline]edit[/editline] This is on Windows 8, I don't think the calculator in 7 does it. Windows 7 was the first Windows version with an arbitrary-precision calculator iirc.
I don't know how, but google search has changed a lot and it displays stuff you would never think it would. [t]http://i.imgur.com/RDzYzoR.png[/t]
This will be so useful for things like E3
http://everytimezone.com is a lifesaver for keeping track of this timezone stuff
How do you even play D&D online? It seems it would be awkward as fuck
Roll20 does a pretty good job at it in my opinion, you just need to find all your stuff like maps and tokens
