• Can we go deaf to Bass?

Well that;s my question... and yes I googled it. Well can we? I've seen many sources that say that we cannot because of the construction of our middle ear and that even deaf people can hear. But then there are other sources who say otherwise. I'm quite confused at this point so could anyone clear this up for me?
ofcourse you can, son. if the decibels are high enough..
Chance of breaking your ear drums from the vibrations so yes.
But deaf people can hear it. What about the vibrations and stuff?
But deaf people can hear it. What about the vibrations and stuff?
They can feel the vibrations of the bass. Which is all music is, vibrations. so even if you can't hear the vibrations still effect your mind.
ofcourse you can, son. if the decibels are high enough..
With that logic, we would go deaf simply from the pressure differentials when taking off and landing a plane. I think that would be on the order of several thousand decibels, it just has a frequency of .0004 Hz.
lets make guns that fuck up ears it'd be awesome
lets make guns that fuck up ears it'd be awesome
Guns already fuck up ears if you shoot too closely.

If it goes low or high enough, yes. But animals can still hear it. I like the bass line in this song. :3:
If it goes low or high enough, yes. But animals can still hear it.
It has very little to do with pitch, anything really loud can damage your hearing.
It has very little to do with pitch, anything really loud can damage your hearing.
By deaf I thought he meant it goes so low or high you can't hear it. His title says to bass not from bass.
I think some people already have judging by the volume in their bassmobiles.
yes we can
lets make guns that fuck up ears it'd be awesome
You should talk with Marius Vairosean.
Yes but it's mainly the high pitch sounds that do it.
I thought he was talking about going deaf to bass as in you can't hear lower sounds as well. Not bass making you deaf... But whatever.

Deaf people cannot hear. They are deaf.
No they can hear or feel bass, they have deaf dance parties here and they just have sub woofers and they put them on the floor.
