"What's making America less safe is to have a white supremacist named to the National Security Council as a permanent member, while the chairman of the Joint Chiefs and the Director of National Intelligence are told, 'Don't call us—we'll call you,'" Pelosi said during her weekly press conference. yeah pretty much
she's right - what she said in the vid
even if you convince yourself through enough mental gymnastics that hes somehow not a white supremacist, I don't think its possible to excuse him being put on the security council while two people with vastly more experience are kicked off
Christ you know shits gotten bad when I agree with Nancy "Blink-o-matic" Pelosi.
What's that quote by Asimov? My ignorance is just as good as your intelligence?
In a democracy where deceived and misinformed votes hold the same weight as informed voters thats sadly true. Not sure it could be done differently though. We need better education a culture where people want to learn about things and question what they're told.
Both sides need to not lie to their voters, otherwise we get situations where one side or the other is suspected of lying and deceiving us and the other one is telling the truth. Having what one side tell us not match up with what we're experiencing or get proven wrong only helps to distrust them even more, even if it's only just a few high profile members.
