Second screen glitches whenever certain programs are launched

Hello everyone. This is a bit of an odd issue to me. Purchased two new monitors yesterday and after plugging them both in I noticed that the second one will occasionally glitch (the bottom half or so goes all corrupted for a split second) whenever certain things are launched. It does it with Skype, YouTube on Firefox (but not Chrome) and Internet Explorer. It does it consistently with these programs, and only right as they are launched (or a youtube video is played on firefox). I uninstalled firefox and replaced it with Chrome which doesn't do this, but Skype still does. It may well have been doing it for a while without me noticing because my older two monitors were quite poor, but when I switch back to them I can still see it. It doesn't matter which ports on the graphics card I use, or which monitors I use - the second screen always does it. If I switch which screen is the main screen in windows, the OTHER screen does it. I presume it isn't TOO bad because I can run games just fine without any problems I am just curious as to why it is occuring.
I have a 5870 which never runs too hot or anything like that. Idles at about 30, I've seen it go to 70 after a few hours of Crysis once.
FINAL EDIT: Unchecking hardware acceleration for flash player seems to have fixed it!!!!!!
