About them:
Simon & Garfunkel is an American duo consisting of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel. They formed the group Tom & Jerry in 1957 and had their first success with the minor hit "Hey, Schoolgirl". As Simon & Garfunkel, the duo rose to fame in 1965, backed by the hit single "The Sound of Silence". Their music was featured in the landmark film The Graduate, propelling them further into the public consciousness.
Who the fuck are they?:
A good American duo who sings real music. They aren't that famous, as I've noticed, because there's no fucking thread about them.

Simon is best known for his success, beginning in 1965, as part of the duo Simon & Garfunkel, with musical partner Art Garfunkel. Simon wrote most of the pair's songs, including three that reached number one on the US singles charts, "The Sound of Silence", "Mrs. Robinson", and "Bridge Over Troubled Water". In 1970, at the height of their popularity, the duo split, and Simon began a successful solo career, recording three highly-acclaimed albums over the next five years. In 1986, he released Graceland, an album inspired by South African township music that helped fuel the anti-apartheid movement. Besides music, Simon wrote and starred in the film One Trick Pony in 1980 and co-wrote the Broadway musical The Capeman in 1998.

Such a great movie.
Have a few Paul Simon records. Have the obvious Bridge Over Troubled Water on LP, who doesn't?
Also Paul's new album is actually very good.
I'm a metalhead but the sound of silence and mrs robinson get me everytime.
Wasn't it Garfunkel who did the soundtrack to Watership Down? Bright eyes?
I love playing Anji, and it's one of the only songs i've managed to memorise :c00l:

I agree.
such a great duo
This needs to be more known.
People, get Paul Simon's new record.
Being completely honest I'm not a big fan of Simon & Garfunkel (Though I do appreciate the music, just not my style.).
Nevermore covered The Sound Of Silence in their 2000 album, and their singer covered Patterns in their solo album.
I found these 2 songs in particular highly enjoyable in their original performance.
Really love Simon and Garfunkel, and Paul Simon's solo work.
Two of my favourites which haven't been posted yet:
