Syrian activists are preparing to take to the streets on Friday for what they are calling a "day of defiance".
Tanks are reported to have withdrawn from the city of Deraa, where a human rights groups says the government has carried out a 10-day "massacre".
But security forces are reported to have gathered in other urban areas, including the coastal town of Banias.
More than 500 Syrians are thought to have been killed during attempts to quell seven weeks of protests.
At least 2,500 others have been detained as part of a violent crackdown that the US has described as "barbaric".[/quote]

I don't think this will turn out good, considering they have already been slaughtered over the past couple weeks.
I've read this book before.

The main character dies at the end.

And... Syria is the main character or what?
I usually know most countries but this one I never heard of and it sounds like I shouldn't care.
I think all the people should unite and protest- lives will be lost, but at some point the government's forces will be overwhelmed with the guilt they're burdened with by shooting their own people.
freedom has a price.

or perhaps after so many are shot, someone might step in and lend a hand.
The Syrians are getting serious...
I want to arm myself with Barret and a RPG-7V2 and massacre Syrian forces from a rooftop.

If you've never heard of Syria then you've probably never heard of "most countries".

Its my preferred way of massacre, and the weapons are easily accessible, also note "rooftop" isnt that specific.

What else was I supposed to say, "I r go syria and use bazooka rocket and 50. sniper rifle and killz syrian forces brah", also note that "barret" is a brand which is hardly specific. RPG-7v2 is a upgraded rpg-7 if you dident know that already.
