• Server being attacked by UDP attacks.

I have a server at NFO, Eight core etc. Running windows 2008 server. It's being hit often by UDP attacks knocking it offline, anyone have any good firewall configurations to prevent this or loosen the attacks?
If the server itself is being knocked offline then using a firewall isn't going to do anything, the traffic needs to be blocked upstream. Most server providers will null route servers that are being DDoS'd but that really doesn't help since you also can't use the server. The only thing I can really recommend is get a Cloudflare account and use their DDoS mitigation.
There's really not much you can do when you are being DDoSed. Most hosts route the traffic to a black hole in the network, however that just routes ALL traffic, not just the flood. So your server will still be down no matter what you do.
