Since forming in early 2011 Nudybronque have toured the west country extensively building a loyal cult fanbase along the way. The band blends Indie music with elements of 70's punk, post-punk and Britpop. Although these influences are similar to those of many bands from the last decade, Nudybronque have created a fresh and vibrant sound they can proudly call their own, avoiding the pitfalls and generic tendencies of the majority of modern Indie bands. The bands debut and self titled EP was released in early June '11 and was greeted with rave reviews stirring up local music scenes and media as well as gaining keen interest within the national music industry. Even the stoniest of hearts and the longest of faces will struggle not to be lifted by this bands sheer joyous nature." I think I'd agree too! I only caught sight of these guys as my mate did their video for them but I was taken straight away to be honest. They are fun, energetic and full of spirit. I would definitely recommend checking these guys out! Especially their music video which I linked above. Major Funnies.
Anyway.... Let me know what you think, maybe I'm on my own in thinking these guys are pretty awesome?
It's kinda obvious you're part of this 'group'/band whatever you wanna call it. No one signs up to a forum to post some random video.
this is well composed and produced, but it literally brings nothing new to the table in terms of uk music. the thing about music like this is that unless you're doing something pretty unique you're just going to sound like the endless pools of talent that exist in accoustic music; keep trying and regardless of whether or not you're a spambot reaching out of your comfort zone is usually the only way you can ever progress as an artist.
Your video made me laugh ( I guess it's supposed to?) but kind of in a cringing way... Your band sounds fine but yeah it sounds like a million other bands that come out all the time and doesn't spark much interest for me. Plus pretending to be a fan is a bit of a turn off it has to be said
It's okay I don't like the bass, it's very thin, but it's okay. Kind of the problem too. Very average music wise. Clean production, simple chords. Decent singing. Nothing I would imagine myself listening to, I'm more of a person who likes experimental-ish stuff so i guess this isn't aimed at me, but it's just very average.
For some reason I read the band's name as "Nude Brony" That's kinda the only thing that amused me about this band.
I liked it
Nope not part of the group, just a friend of the guy that shot it. But yes I did sign up to post it as I want to help him out and spread the word. I can take your point of view on the music too and see where you are coming from. When they play live is when they really shine, either way I'll pass the comments on to them and let them know.
