It was actually a retroactive removal to the point where they removed it from people's minds that they had them.

probably true, still i wish we didn't devote so much space in our stores to religious texts, most people can't afford to go to the larger more up-scale book stores and local book stores are all but extinct anymore, walmart's magazine isle alone is almost all gun-nut mags and car magazines, most of their book isle is filled with christian books and those cheap romance books, with little space left for only the most popular stuff

If GTA5 is unsellable because it lets you punch prostitutes in the face, then surely that book is unsellable because it promotes abusive relationships.

Reminds me, I was reading last week's Bloomberg Businessweek, and their Anita Sarkeesian article was ridiculously misinformed, and the pictures lacked any context whatsoever. It's worth reading for a laugh, if you can get past the crushing reality of it all.
