My antivirus is has found 2 files infected with the trojan trj/CI.A in C:/windows/sysWOW64/config/systemprofile/AppData/local/microsoft/windows/temporary internet files/Content.IE5, but there is no folder that I can find in .../windows called 'temporary internet files.' Does anyone know what's going on or how I can find the infected files?
Start > Run > then type %temp% then enter.
Then just delete all stuff it doesn't matter, it's just a waste of space.
Or it could be hidden do Ctrl + A to select all file's and then the hidden files will be shown.
Neither of those yielded anything. Perhaps a better question is whether I can safely delete the contents of C:/windows/sysWOW64/config/systemprofile/AppData/local/microsoft/windows. Can I?
