• Suggestions for new VOIP equipped wireless ADSL router.

My family was given a router by our provider about 5 years ago when we switched over to VOIP. It's on its last legs; it regularly drops the internet connection (but not the wireless connection), VOIP constantly drops out, the setting page usually has display errors or simply won't function, the ADSL connection settings regularly vanish for no apparent reason, and it's incredibly slow. We've reinstalled the firmware but that hasn't helped so we need a new router. What does Facepunch recommend? It needs to be ADSL2+, VOIP and wireless capable and able to handle 10-15 devices (5 computers, 5 mobile phones, the TV set-top box plus friends who might come over) connected to it wireless without having device conflicts. So, what brand and model should I get.?
Not sure about VOIP but have a look into ASUS, some of their gear is absolutely fantastic.
Personally I'd look into a separate ADSL2+ modem and a regular beefy router supported by Open-WRT to accompany it. VOIP should just be a matter of port forwarding.

All the Routers with built-in ADSL2+ modems are incredibly shitty in one way that'll annoy your usecase, or they're some not-cheap small office routers.
I can't fix the fact I'm not the one paying for it.
