Hello.
I've been having a strange problem with my PC recently, where it randomly and completely freezes for a random period of time. I can still move my mouse, hear videos in the background, but I can't do jack shit. And then it suddenly stops, and everything is working again.
I have suspected multiple things. Hard drive errors, scanned it, none were found with various tools. It has a high temperature tho, it's sitting at 34 degrees Celcius when idle. Could that be a problem?
I have also suspected an overheating CPU, applied new thermal paste and nothing.
If you have questions for requiring further information, I'll do my best to answer them in the morning or afternoon.
Checked the Event Log for anything out of the ordinary? Sometimes (but not always) it will lead to a clue about a misbehaving background service or driver.
Some errors and warning are normal though.

I took a look under the Critical tab in the Event Log and saw quite the few Kernel-Power sources and a few from DriverFrameworks-UserMode.
Usually Critical things result in crashes, right?

Yeah, Critical events are usually things that unexpectedly stopped the OS from functioning. Kernel-Power usually means the computer turned off unexpectedly for an unknown reason. Like holding the power button or unplugging or something hardware related. But probably unrelated to your current issue.
Driver is sort of interesting. Probably worth looking at.
Out of curiousity, just in case its power option weirdness, set your PC to High Performance mode in Power Options. That caused some very similar issues on an XP era machine running 7 or newer for me. Probably a BIOS issue with some ACPI settings. If your not on a laptop, its not a super big issue anyway.
