Here's the situation:
The PC I have now is absolute crap. I can't salvage anything other than the monitor and my mouse. Other than that, I need a new USB keyboard and a completely new build. Also, I don't have Windows 7.
My primary usage for this computer will be playing games (mostly the ones that will be coming out relatively soon) for example,
Mass Effect 3
Diablo 3
Crysis
and stuff like that. I'm not doing any hardcore rendering or anything, just some gaming and internet. I live in America.
do you have Vista though? Because $700 is too low for a decent SB build and I don't suggest you drop $700 on an AM3 build now
What's wrong with AM3 builds? Or are you saying it's not worth getting one with a budget of $700, so save up for SB or lower budget?
with a little more money he could get a decent SB build, and am3+ is around the corner, so buying am3 is not a good idea
