Specs: Processor: AMD Phenom II 945 3.0Ghz Ram: 1333mhz(666mhz x 2) 4GB x 2 GPU: Radeon HD 5830 PSU: 650W Corsair Motherboard: MSI 870A-G54 Should I go 6950 or 560 ti? or should I upgrade my processor?
Totally depends on which applications. If I were you, for my needs (gaming and autocad) I would go for the 6850. If you want an nVidia card I would buy a 560 instead. TIs are a waste of money since you can use software to overclock.
A 560Ti out performs a 6850 and compares to a 6950. So 560Ti

[editline]2nd September 2011[/editline] You shouldn't really be comparing a 6850 and a 560 ti - their prices are quite different.

I'd say 560 ti, but I prefer nVidia. The performance is pretty near each other, besting eachother depending on what game, but nVidia gets bonuses like Cuda, Physx, and quicker OpenGL.
The 6950 is a bit faster from what I've seen, but it draws more power and so forth. If you want to run more monitors, I recommend the 6950.
6950 for Eyefinity. 560 Ti because I said so.
What good motherboards will the 560 Ti fit in with?
What good motherboards will the 560 Ti fit in with?
A 560 TI will work with any motherboard with a PCI-E x16 port.

580 isn't worth the price. Get the 570, much better for the price.

Make sure you have a good enough PSU, I'd say a good 600w for a single 570 and a 750w for two.

A model number would be great. Edited: Also, what type of cases should be used to encase my computer?

As for the case, any ATX case will work, just choose one that's in your budget and that you think looks good.

XFX is probably the best value right now.
