Herro - you know what im asking
Can a Lian Li 80+ PSU run a GTX 570?
NOTE: The psu's a year or two old, thinking about swapping GPU but don't wanna buy new motherboard
(Also, is the cooling in the case sufficient for this card?)
Current Specs:

cheers gurls
I don't see why not
I got lost when you said "VGA" as in the video port.. not the card..
650 watt on a 570 seems a bit iffy, especially in combination with your other specs. In terms of the PSU its always best to go higher than the recommended. Personally with those specs, if i were to add a 570, Id go with something like a 700-800 watt PSU.

They used to call the GPU the VGA back in the day because its primary function was basically just to draw shit on the screen, not process any fancy graphics.
There's only 551W on the (two) 12v rails, it will probably work, though.
but would it be safe to run on that 650w PSU?

Yes. I have a 5 yr old BFG Tech 650 watt PSU running a 570, overclocked q6600 plus numerous fans, hdds, and so on. It will be fine.
Cool, thanks mate
