Why not? This is dubstep. Pretty decent, too loud sub, needs snappier snare
This isn't dubstep, there's no heavy basslines and powerful parts you can actually dance to.
That doesn't mean this isn't good, it's very basic, but sounds pretty nice.
I'd say something along the lines of house.

You don't have to be able to dance to it for it to be dubstep, there is a heavy bassline.
It has a halftime beat, elements of dub(not dubstep, just dub) and it's basically electronic dub. It's not skrillex, it's lighter, but it still is dubstep, just oldschool.

The dubstep genre isn't just the stuff that's grown to popularity the past few years. This is indeed dubstep. But if I wanted to be really specific I'd prefer to call this dub. Anyways.
I like it, but I'm not sure I'd call it "trippy". I also think you need a bit more spaciousness. There's too much clean up-close stuff if you know what I mean. Here's an example of some great (1970s) dub you might want to listen to if you want to make some "trippy" dub/dubstep:

this is dubstep there is literally no disproving it
this is really old school, i like some of the synths youve got in there too
Never heard anything much like this. I like it.
The start sounds like something straight out of a cheesy 70's movie.

Thanks for the advices and the 70's dub :) @Dead Madman I think you hear the same track as everyone else.
P.S. I changed the genre to Dub.
