Just moved to windows 7 and where'd the wallpaper go?

I finally made the move to windows 7 today. I've been downloading drivers and installing them, and generally getting things all running. Now for some reason my video card (an EVGA) doesn't like to turn the fan on, so I use the EVGA precision program to force it to 85%. Everything's going fine as I do that, and then a second later the wallpaper turns off and I get a black background. Now I can't change it. WHAT THE FUCK?

I would say your drivers are fucked. Try uninstalling and then reinstaling them.

Maybe the GPU is slowly starting to die.
Fan doesn't turn -> Black Background -> Some weird lines on the screen -> R.I.P.

Huh, I managed to fix it by going to the windows classic theme and then back. That's strange. Now I just need to figure out how to get my sound working again.

Have you been installing some dark distro found on russian websites or what ? Your drivers are pretty much fucked, reinstall them.
