-I did not make this site- This is the first time I've made a topic in the General discussion, so I don't know if I'm doing it right.. I basically want to show off this neat site. I'm not the best at explaining things so it's probably best you check it out for yourself to get a better understanding of what i mean.. Just reformatted and can't be bothered searching around for all the usual apps you install? The site basically gives you a list of things you want to download/install and creates a custom installer for you. Yeah check out the site, it probably explains it better than I do. Whoa, this is pretty cool.
Now I don't have to sit there and :f5: to redownload all my apps every time I re-format.
I give you a useful I like this
Semi-old But very useful
Nice.
If they made this commercial it would sell a lot
:iia:
So they're just copying what linux does?
If they made this commercial it would sell a lot
I doubt they'd be allowed to.. Making profit off free programs they didn't even make..something like that
If they made this commercial it would sell a lot
That would be illegal. :v:
Steams on there. <3
If they made this commercial it would sell a lot
The average person does not reformat, they crap it up until the hard drive is full, say it is crappy, and buy a new one. And then the cycle continues... Also, I will use this website
Wow, that's useful! I was considering reformatting since this computer's been collecting files since 2004..
Shit, I should use this the next time I reformat somebody's computer... Like tommorow. [editline]12:00AM[/editline] Aww, I was hoping that it would assemble a FULL installer that wouldn't require me to download anything.

This is fucking awesome, most useful application I've seen in a long time.
I doubt they'd be allowed to.. Making profit off free programs they didn't even make..something like that

That would be illegal. :v:
I meant that if they just had commercial programs and collectively charged a credit card or something on what apps you installed (And put in minor DRM), it would be quick and easy for some person to take their new or formatted computer and install Photoshop Elements, Nero, and such with a single click instead of spending days buying and installing every single piece of hardware they need to get started Also people like laptop users usually can't buy larger hard drives so they have to reformat or use external drives I've packed my laptop full with two 500GB hard drives and a 1TB eSATA drive and all I can do now for more space is swap external hard drives
Bump, everyone must know of this.
I've packed my laptop full with two 500GB hard drives and a 1TB eSATA drive and all I can do now for more space is swap external hard drives
uh wtf you need more than 2TB??

The fun thing about this thread is that it's in the wrong sub-forum. On-topic: I really love Ninite :D
Thanks.
I Stumbled to this, actually. Seems handy, but I keep a portable harddrive with installers and/or .iso's for everything I use....
Niiice Problem: I won't remember it next time I format and reinstall :(
