• Problem installing .NET framework 3.5.1 for DR2

so I think I covered every other possible thing that could be wrong with DR2 but this, so I'm guessing that this is probably why it won't launch. When I tried to install DR2, and when I launch gfwl, the 3.5.1 installer comes up, and then a window pops up saying I need to install it via "Turn Windows features on or off" in the control panel, so I do, and then I get an error. Then I hit ok on the error and it says I need to reboot for the changes to take effect, so I rebooted, and nothing. I've done the whole process several times, but I don't bother rebooting anymore. Anyone have a solution? Here's the errors so you guys know exactly what it says
Windows7 should have that .net package. I didn't need to install it for any games. can you launch DR2? And if yes, and it crashes right after start up; remember this is a capcom game. 44k sound is a requirement, and a maximum.
It won't even create a process, if I launch it via steam it shows me ingame for a little under a second and then reverts. [editline]05:51PM[/editline] And I checked the sound settings already, they're on the right one
I just tried uninstalling gfwl and re-installing it, at the end it said it needs .NET 3.5 sp1 even though I have .NET 4, and I just get the same problem in the OP. I tried running zdp.exe manually and it said it was decompressing the game, but it still won't launch, and now when I run zdp.exe it says it encountered a corrupted game file :geno: [editline]11:41PM[/editline] The plot thickens! I just ran the .NET framework verification utility, and apparently the only versions of .NET I have are 2.0 sp2, 4.0 client, and 4.0 full Time to reinstall windows I think
