I just so happen to have my trusty copy of advanced dungeons & dragons monstrous compendium on me.
Let me inform you all about Goblins.
[U][B]Goblin[/B][/U]
These small, evil humaniods would be merely pests, if not for their great numbers.
Goblins have flat faces, broad noses, pointed ears, wide mouths and small, sharp fangs. Their foreheads slope back, and their eyes are usually dull and glazed. They always walk upright, but their arms hang down almost to their knees. Their skins colours range from yellow through any shade of orange to a deep red. Usually a single tribe has members all of about the same colour skin. Their eyes vary from bright red to a gleaming lemon yellow. They wear clothing of a dark leather, tending toward dull soiled-looking colous.

(I know I'm gonna regret posting here but)
Goblin definition:
A goblin is a legendary evil or mischievous creature, described as a grotesquely evil or evil -like . They are attributed with various (sometimes conflicting) abilities, temperaments and appearances depending on the story and country of origin. ...
The appearances vary, me and 2 other people are making a comic based on goblins and we're taking a different approach to goblins, like they fall under the categorys of common goblins (half the size of humans), microgoblins (like smaller ones), orcs (taller more human), trolls (much more beastlike and bigger) and imps (being common goblins but created through magic). All of these aren't the usual looking ones, they have completely varied colours and they have random features such as horns, beaks etc.
I'm sure goblins and the like aren't set in stone and are up for interpretation.

I know they tend you change in height and shape, but they try to remain loyal to the original concept of a Goblin.
Also:
*Imps are diminutive creatures of an evil nature who roam the world and act as famiars for lawful evil wizards and priests..
*I don't think trolls are related to goblins, they're more like giants imo.

Staying true to the original concept doesn't exist, as I said they were different all around the world.
Also, as I said we took a DIFFERENT approach (we're trying to make everything slightly different to the original fantasy idea), and decided to class those creatures under one category of race.
Just checked some stuff, imps can be classified in different ways not necessarily controlled by wizards they can just be mischevious creatures. Stop looking at one definition and look at more than one source

I believe it should be up for interpretation. Just draw whatever kind of fucking goblin you want and thats it.

I hardly know how to draw, let alone how to draw a goblin.
Just open up a paint and start scribbling something in :v:
