But according to a new study, a sizeable number of vegetarians commit the ultimate dietary sin when they get drunk: they eat meat. U.K.-based discount code website VoucherCodesPro conducted a poll with 1,789 Brits who claim to be vegetarians and found that 37 percent of all respondents admitted to eating meat after they’ve had too much to drink. The majority of respondents (63 percent) said they stood by their personal dietary codes no matter how much they drink. But the majority of those polled who admit they've fallen of the vegetarian wagon while imbibing say it happens a lot.
Your mind is telling you "noooo", but your body is telling you "OH FUCK YES"...
this fox new's but then again the topic is'nt something worth lie about or bullshting about
I'm really not surprised. Most of the vegetarians I've met like the taste of meat, they just think it's wrong to kill/eat animals. Vegans are the ones who give enough of a shit to actually dislike meat.
"duhh durrr umm whateverrrrr"
more like "duuuuuuuuude, I can totally stuff this whole hamburger into my mou - oh shit there goes my sense of balance!"
People make choices they regret while drunk. Who knew?
a buddy of mine is vegan and when he's drunk he doesn't care when taco bell puts cheese on his burrito [editline]9th October 2015[/editline] he has the worst order too it's 3 bean burritos no cheese add potatos rice and guac it ends up being like $8
People make choices they regret while drunk. Who knew?
It says there in the article that "34% said every time they get drunk on a night out"... for them, it's not a choice they regret IMO, they're just not very commited to their cause. Like a self-proclaimed non-smoker who smokes a pack of cigarettes every time he gets drunk.
he has the worst order too it's 3 bean burritos no cheese add potatos rice and guac it ends up being like $8
That's ridiculous, last time I went there I got a loaded griller, a large Burrito, a taco, and a small soda for $6.
And then they go all Arrested Development "I'm a monster!!"
That's ridiculous, last time I went there I got a loaded griller, a large Burrito, a taco, and a small soda for $6.
Beefy 5 layer's all day m8
That's ridiculous, last time I went there I got a loaded griller, a large Burrito, a taco, and a small soda for $6.
I usually get 2 7 layer burritos and a cup of water for $5.76 or if I'm feeling rich I add jalepenos and it's $6.40 and then I don't finish the second 7 layer when I realize that the meal would be like 1100 calories if I did (or I do finish it because I've forgotten to eat for 2 days)
surprise some vegetarians are actually just pretentious
From my experience these are generally people who go 'I'm vegetarian now!' and as soon as any self control slips they order a turkey sub.
It's like they are only drinking so they can get some proper food down them.
Its almost like drunk people do shit they wouldn't do when they're sober! Call the news!
I wonder if this is the reason why I havent caught scurvy yet. Now picturing blacked out self shoving fruits and vegetables into my mouth.
I still don't even when I'm drunk but I could see how someone who's not very strict about it doing it.
Better eat a pig than fuck one. Less regret in the morning.
Better eat a pig than fuck one. Less regret in the morning.
Cameron can concur.
i had some cheese pizza drunk the other night but i don't think i'd eat meat
People eat from burger vans when they're drunk. Even if you're not a vegetarian I'd call that risky behaviour.
I doubt the actual number is 1/3, this poll was only conducted on 1,800 people so it has a high margin of error
man, talk about a letdown. I thought we'd be talking about the prince of all saiyans.
I have a friend who was exactly like this. He wouldn't turn down McDonald's when he was drunk.
I doubt the actual number is 1/3, this poll was only conducted on 1,800 people so it has a high margin of error
1800 is a pretty good sample size
How do they even get the data for this to back it up? Oh wait, they don't.
I've never ate meat drunk but I have a friend who ate bacon when intoxicated and there was no other food around. (However, she's also intending to eat a meal that has meat in it while she's in Japan, so I'm not too sue she has the definition of 'vegetarian' down to a T.)

[editline]9th October 2015[/editline] I plan on trying everything when i go teach abroad in korea

[editline]9th October 2015[/editline] In my case, I don't drink alcohol, and if I had the chance to visit Germany, unfortunately I'd be missing out on the whole Oktoberfest experience, for not driking beer -- luckily for us, Germany has more to offer than just beer.
