I'm trying to make a bookdesign in InDesign as a task we all have in my class, but when I save it and export it into an Adobe PDF, and then open it in Acrobat 9, the background is all pixelated. Same happens when I try to print it out. (A3)

Don't mind the black spots, I just removed text and logo.
Anyone know how to fix this? Picture is not resized, but I did use fitting on it and only darkened it a bit.
Here's the background how it's supposed to be, except the very left part, I took that out in InDesign:

low rez image, try to get a better one.
Which way did you set the image compression of the PDF? I know there's a option to adjust that on Photoshop.

Did nothing on compression.

Uh, I think your problem is there. It has bicubic downscaling on. Turn it off
Oh, I'll try that.

It worked, for the Acrobat part anyway, haven't tested it on printout yet, but thanks.
go to View > Display Performance > jack it up.
